At the Office
I enjoy what I do: Connecting with clients and building special relationships with them. The services I provide clients include accounting and bookkeeping, personal financial management, elder care management and tax preparation. Whether a client is new to QuickBooks and needs to start from the beginning or is an experienced QuickBooks user in need of technical support, I’m here to help. My work is very satisfying, but it’s the professional atmosphere and family-focused culture within the office that lets me know this is the place I want to be.
Work/Life Balance
Outside of work, I enjoy moving about. It may not sound too exciting at face value, but activity in general is what motivates me. In fact, I would gladly trade in my desk for a treadmill. Whether going for a long walk during my lunch hour or visiting the gym after work, I am always moving. I also enjoy tennis and spending time with my husband and three sons. And one more thing: I have a reputation as an avid Los Angeles Lakers fan. Go Lakers!

At the Office
With the diversity of projects and my ability to work directly with clients, I’ve developed a broad knowledge not too many professionals are afforded. For clients, it means never having to hear “I don’t handle that.” I also work remotely from a home office three days per week, which increases productivity by cutting down on drive time. Our firm’s technology allows for secure transfer of files, paperless office systems and remote access, which allows me to supervise staff, collaborate and keep projects moving forward.
Work/Life Balance
My outside interests are as varied as the broad base of projects I work on at work. I’m an accountant by day, and a pyrotechnic professional, float builder, casino dealer and certified belly dancing instructor outside the office. Volunteer involvement includes activities with the Burbank Jaycees, as well as the Burbank Tournament of Roses Association. My husband and I enjoy spending time outdoors with the newest member of our family, a well-mannered pup we recently rescued.

At the Office
I made a conscious choice to start my career with a firm where I wanted to end up. I am very pleased with my decision and can honestly say that I enjoy coming to work each day. During our busy seasons I work on different tax-related projects. When not in tax season, I focus on tax planning and consulting based on each client’s needs.
Work/Life Balance
When interviewing with the firm, I saw how involved the partners were in their communities - that impressed me. Bigger firms weren’t able to demonstrate that same level of outside involvement. Add to that, many of us at KKAJ have common interests, including sports. Outside the office I enjoy spending time with my family, working out, and any activity outdoors. I also volunteer at my church. Married three years, my wife and I are expecting our first child.
